Pathway Chess runs weekly programs inside schools, small-group lessons in person and online, and scholastic tournaments for children ages 5 to 14 — built on a leveled curriculum and led by a FIDE Master who is also a qualified classroom teacher.

The Pathway
We teach chess the way a good school teaches anything.
The Pathway is our curriculum: eight levels, from first moves to tournament preparation. A child is assessed, placed, and moved forward on evidence — not on how many terms they have attended.

Fundamentals in a deliberate order, so nothing important is quietly skipped.

Every child plays
No child spends a session watching. Games every week, against opponents at their level.

A written report each term for parents, and a cohort summary for the school.
